Adelanto, CA - Team DRI factory rider Doug Eichner took home the win at this year’s Adelanto GP. Doug got off to a rough start when his goggles got caught in the helmet camera he was wearing. He was able to correct the problem just as the flag dropped. The malfunction had set him back to about mid-pack after the start. Doug charged vigorously on his Duncan Racing TRX 450R. He began to quickly move up through the pack and was in the lead before the end of the first 7 mile lap!

As the race went on, Eichner continued to open the gap between him and the second place rider, Greg Stuart, the Adelanto GP defending champion. By the end of the race Eichner had put about a 2 minute lead on Stuart. Eichner commented on how well his Elka/Roll Design suspension set up handled the rough track, especially on the infamous mud jump, which seemed to be a little bit steeper than normal this year. After missing out on the championship last year, it seemed Eichner was on a mission this time around. With the help of Duncan Racing and the rest of his sponsors, Doug was able to chalk up another astounding win at the Adelanto GP.
